TV Ratings: '24: Live Another Day' slips, 'Bachelorette' hits series low

Despite some new offerings from the major networks on Monday night, few viewers actually tuned in, leaving shows like The Bachelorette and 24: Live Another Day to fall in the ratings.

Fox took the victory for Memorial Day with a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demographic, but suffered in overall viewership with only 4.94 million viewers, reports Hitfix. MasterChef premiered down, taking in a 1.4 rating in the demo, while 24 also struggled, falling to a 1.5 demo rating.

ABC had the best overall audience of the night with 5.28 million viewers, but came second in the advertiser-important demo with a 1.3 rating. The Bachelorette fell to a series low of a 1.4 rating in the demo after last week's soft premiere. A Castle encore closed the night with a 0.9 demo rating.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC was third as the network only had one original on the night, American Ninja Warrior, which took in a 1.5 rating in the 18-49 demo, which is a tumble from last week. The network averaged a 1.3 rating and a miserable 4.12 million viewers.

Airing nearly all repeats, CBS managed only a 1.0 rating in the demo and 4.99 million viewers. The only original of the night was an episode of the cancelled Friends With Better Lives, which slipped to a 1.4 rating.
