The pregnant South Carolina woman who drove her minivan into the ocean with her children in the car, has given birth to a fourth child.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported that attorney John Hager confirmed that Ebony Wilkerson gave birth to a child. He did not release the baby's gender.
CBS News noted that on March 4, the 32-year-old drove her vehicle into the Atlantic Ocean with her children in tow. The terrified kids were strapped in their seatbelts and began screaming for help.
Luckily, two Good Samaritans heard their cries and were able to rescue them.
Wilkerson was 28 weeks pregnant at the time and charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder.
Her family said that they believe she suffers from a mental illness and she was sent to a psychiatric facility to be evaluated.
Hager, who represents Wilkerson’s husband, Lutful Ronjon, said that the three children and the newborn are with other family members.
