'Game of Thrones' star Peter Dinklage promotes PETA's 'Face Your Food' campaign (Video)

In honor of Peter Dinklage's 45th birthday, PETA has released a new video expose as part of their "Face Your Food" campaign. In the video, Dinklage, who is now most famous for playing Tyrion Lannister on Game of Thrones, explains what happens to the many animals slaughtered each day for food consumption.

Some of the things Dinklage mentions are the harsh living conditions for the animals, how the animals' health is neglected and how they are killed in very gruesome ways. The video doesn't shy away from showing any of this, and is very graphic in nature.

Dinklage has been a vegetarian since he was 16 years old. Going on 30 years later, he hasn't gone back to eating meat since, even though it looks like he does almost every week on Game of Thrones. Any time he's seen eating meat on the show, he's actually eating tofu.

At the bottom of the page, there is a place to sign a pledge to become a vegetarian, along with the video.
