Jennifer Lopez already has someone in mind to portray her life and career in a biopic; 21-year-old pop singer, Selena Gomez. 
"I would want Selena Gomez to play me in a movie. She is a cutie," Lopez said to
Newsday.
The American Idol judge famously played singer Selena Quintanilla following her tragic death in 1997 biopic and it became Lopez’s breakthrough role. Ironically, Texas Native, Selena Gomez, was also named after the late singer so there is no surprise that she and JLo share a mutual bond.
This time around, the “First Love” singer wants Selena to play her role. According to Fox Latino, Gomez said she wants to wants to begin focusing more on her acting career, despite her large success in in the music industry and her previous roles on the Disney Channel.
“Being part of Disney Channel was a blessing and I am very happy for the success that the shows had,” she said according to Fox. “Now, acting is something that I want to take into account more. I don’t feel necessarily accomplished. I want to create a whole different persona when it comes to acting.”
