Throwback Thursday: R. L. Stine shares his first TV show

Do you remember Eureka’s Castle? Eureka’s Castle was a Nick Junior show. The show consisted of cute, cuddly monsters. These creatures lived in a wind-up music box castle. Though Eureka’s Castle is owned by a friendly giant, it is named after Eureka. She is a sorceress in training. The castle is full of different creatures with distinct personality. The series covers the day-to-day life of the residents.

On Throwback Thursday, R. L. Stine shared a group shot of the cuddly monsters. Instead of adding a comment, the clever author let the picture speak for itself. Fans immediately responded by retweeting and sharing their thoughts about the show. On top of that, R. L. Stine replied to his followers tweets.

The shows anniversary is coming up, this might be why he shared it. Eureka’s Castle was R. L. Stine’s first television show and he was the head writer. Goosebumps did not air until 1999; However, people tend to forget about Eureka’s Castle. This year it will be 20 years since the show went off the air. If you have not seen the show or you are feeling nostalgic, you can watch a full episode here! Remember Square? He is on the video too!

If you wanted to by the series, it is only available in VHS. I am sorry to disappoint you, but it is better to hear it from me.
