Warner Bros.' DC film roster allegedly leaks online, 'Wonder Woman' planned for 2017

With Comic-Con 2014 a little more then a month out, many are eager to see what DC/Warner Brothers has in store. It would seem that we have an early peek at the announcements in store.

Warner Brothers has already announced that we will see the Justice League on the silver screen some time after the release of Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice but, according to a report from the former Editor-in-Chief of Deadline Hollywood, that time may be sooner rather then later; May, 2017 to be specific.

Not only will we be seeing Justice League only a year after Dawn of Justice, but we will also allegedly be seeing a Shazam film, and the already announced Sandman with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. After the release of Justice League, the report claims that there are plans for a solo Wonder Woman film with Gal Gadot, another team-up film with the Flash and Green Lantern, and finally in 2018 the sequel to Man of Steel.

After the critical failure of Ryan Reynolds’ Green Lantern, DC/WB wanted to test the waters with Man of Steel before jumping into the rest of the DC Universe (like Marvel Studios has the Marvel Universe). If this report is to be believed, then Warner Brothers has put its complete faith behind its DC properties, planning to put out seven films between now and may of 2018.

Fans will have to wait until next month for any of these projects to be officially confirmed, but it would be a very ambitious step for Warner Brothers.
