The first teaser trailer for the fourth season of Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story has finally been released, and there's plenty of creepy to go around.
The fourth season of the anthology series, Freak Show, will be set in 1950 Jupiter, Florida. It will star Jessica Lange for the fourth and (sadly) last time.
According to Hollywood Reporter, Lange will be playing a German expat in charge of managing one of the only remaining freak shows in the country.
The teaser, which was posted on Perez Hilton, features a sickly angel on a stage-like floor opening up her wings, which are then revealed to be inserted in her bloody back through wooden pieces while a creature behind her controls them.
The cast members set to return include Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Frances Conroy and Kathy Bates , who will all be playing the role of performers who have been rescued by Lange's character. Former The Shield star Michael Chiklis will be appearing in the series for the first time, playing, the ex-husband of Bates' character and father of Peters' character.
