We are still four months away from the first half of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay opening in theaters, but Lionsgate is keeping fans interested with a new teaser trailer. This one doesn’t reveal much for those who haven’t read Suzanne Collins’ books, but it does feature first glimpses of two characters.
Julianne Moore, who plays President Alma Coin, can be seen in the trailer, speaking with Plutarch Heavensbee, played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, about everyone’s favorite subject - Katniss Everdeen.
According to E! News, the trailer is also the first appearance of Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones) as Cressida. Other actors that can be seen in the one-minute long teaser are Donald Sutherland, Jeffrey Wright and Liam Hemsworth. Of course, Jennifer Lawrence is there as Katniss at the end.
The teaser was shown at Comic-Con on Friday. This follows a few short teasers that were released last month and earlier this month, although these did not show action from the film.
Mockingjay - Part 1 opens on Nov. 21. Part 2 opens on Nov. 20, 2015. Both films are directed by Francis Lawrence.
