Jaguars' Justin Blackmon arrested again, this time for marijuana possession

Already suspended Jacksonville Jaguars WR Justin Blackmon has been arrested again, for the third-time. This latest run-in with the law came in Edmond, Oklahoma where he was charged with marijuana possession.

Some guys just cannot ever get it together.

It was reported that Edmond Police Officers took Blackmon into custody after smelling marijuana from the car after a routine traffic-stop, according to News9.com. Blackmon immediately admitted that he had been smoking a “blunt” while driving and that there was indeed marijuana in the car. He was released from prison after posting a $657 bond.

Blackmon served a four-game suspension in 2013 after his second violation of the league’s substance abuse policy, according to ESPN.com. You’d think that would have been his wake-up call, but no as he is currently serving an indefinite suspension for his third-violation of the substance abuse policy.

"Right now, all I can say is I'm just praying that he can get the help that he needs,'' Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said after hearing about the incident.

While at Oklahoma State, Blackmon was a two-time All-American and Biletnikoff Award Winner. Because of his college days in Oklahoma, it seems he runs into the most trouble there. This latest arrest will make it very difficult for Blackmon to re-enter the league anytime soon and his days as a professional athlete may be over.
