Jamie Dornan, the star of Fifty Shades of Grey, will be starring in the film “Adam Jones” with Bradley Cooper.
The film will be directed by Josh Wells, written by Steven Knight (known for his work on Seventh Son), and will be produced by Michael Shamberg, Stacey Sher, and Erwin Stoff.
The film, as noted by The Wrap, was originally called Chef, but changed the title to distance itself from the similarly titled film from Jon Favreau.
As reported by Up & Comers, the film stars Cooper as a Paris chef who loses his fame and prestige due to an out of control, decadent lifestyle. He returns to Paris after a forced hiatus from the kitchen so he can clean up his act, and looks to redeem himself and his kitchen by gaining three Michelin stars.
The film also stars Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl, Alicia Vikander, Sienna Miller, Omar Sy, Sam Keely, and Lily James, though their roles, along with Dornan's role, have not been detailed. Up & Comers noted that many of the cast spent time in a Michelin-star kitchen to research their roles and the environment.
Dornan's past roles, apart from Christian Grey in the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey, have included small parts in The Fall (to which he will return in autumn) and Once Upon a Time.
The trailer for Fifty Shades of Grey will debut on July 24th, and the film will be released on Valentine’s Day 2015. As we reported, Beyonce recently released a teaser for the trailer on her Instagram.
