'The Following' Comic-Con panel teases fans with info about season 3

The Following panel gave fans a few teasers of what will come in season 3 at San Diego Comic-Con.

The series, starring Kevin Bacon, follows ex-FBI agent Ryan Harding as he tries to capture serial killer Joe Carroll, played by James Purefoy. Unlike the previous two seasons, the show will focus more on the characters and their relationships, reported Buddy TV.

Bacon gave his own summary.

“People will die and asses will be kick,” he said.

According to Deadline Hollywood, the panel for The Following showed an alternate ending with Carroll’s demise. Although they shot two ending, the cast themselves was unsure of which one would air.

Since Carroll will be in season 3, it seems the ending with his demise was not favored. Creator Kevin Williamson is not even sure how Carroll will appear. On the other hand, Harding’s previous love interest and wife of Carroll, Claire, played by Natalie Zea, could also be making an appearance.

Zea’s appearance may mean competition for Harding’s new love, a doctor named Gwen, who will “challenge” him.

Season 3 of The Following will return in 2015 on Fox.
