This Week in Fashion: Cameron Diaz, Kate Hudson and Tiffany's news

It’s another busy week in fashion. Celebrities are proving why black is the look for Summer. When trying to decide what to wear for A-list events, movie stars like Cameron Diaz and Kate Hudson are taking the red carpet by storm, appearing in black dresses at important events. Diaz showed up in a slip dress at the ESPY Awards, while Hudson wore a form-fitting gown to her latest movie opening.

Meanwhile, changes at some of the largest companies keep everyone guessing about the future. The CEO at Tiffany & Co., an industry leader in jewelry and watches, says he’s planning to retire.

Here’s what’s going on in Fashion this Week

Cameron Diaz made a splash in a black dress at the ESPY Awards last Wednesday. The celebrity always looks carefree at premiere events, but this black dress is exceptionally stunning. The silk Reed Krakoff gown has pockets and an asymmetrical hemline. The black toe-nail polish is a great accent.

Diaz was at the awards when Peyton Manning took home two ESPY awards.

Kate Hudson also wore a fine black gown for her Wish I Was Here premiere. The form fitting dress has a straight skirt and with a narrow bodice. Hudson stars opposite of Zach Braff in the indie project, Wish You Were Here. Hudson also starred in Almost Famous and Something Borrowed, and You, Me, and Dupree.

New CEO for Tiffany & Co

Frederic Cumenal is set to take the position of Michael Kowalski as the CEO of Tiffany & Co. in April of 2015.

Tiffany makes upscale jewelry, including watches. They are at the forefront of providing items for red carpet events and award ceremonies. Celebrities and stylists have depended on Tiffany for years for some of the most unique finds at star-studded events.

According to Market Watch, Kowalski said, “I am immensely satisfied by what we have accomplished at Tiffany over the past 30 years, and I am confident that the company is superbly positioned for the future. Frederic Cumenal is ideally suited to succeed me as chief executive officer, and we will continue to work closely together to ensure a seamless transition. I look forward to continuing in the role of chairman of the Board.”

Kowalski will not be retiring until 2015, so this leaves plenty of time for the transition to take place. Here’s to Tiffany’s. Where would celebrities be without them?
