Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey broke his toe during an introduction at his show’s San Diego Comic Con panel.
According to E! News, the 22-year-old actor broke his toe while attempting to do a cartwheel on-stage during the star-studded Teen Wolf panel at this weekend’s San Diego Comic Con. Panels at Comic Con usually consist of cast introductions, an interview of the panelists conducted by a person working at the convention, fan questions and bonus announcements or footage.
Posey, being the jokester both cast members and fans know him to be, decided to spice things up during his introduction with a bit of gymnastics. “I taped it up with Scotch tape,” the Teen Wolf star said of his attempt at fixing up his toe after the incident.
"I did a cartwheel when I was called onto the stage and I immediately knew I broke it," he said. As for his experience with the injury, Posey remarked, “it's my first broken toe I've ever had." Posey and his costars still managed to have a great time during their panel, as cast member Holland Roden had no idea about the mishap until hours after the event!
Posey has more than practicing his cartwheels on his mind; it was recently announced that he will be hosting Fox’s annual Teen Choice Awards.
His MTV hit show Teen Wolf has also been picked up for a fifth season.
