John C. Reilly sees latest film 'Guardians of the Galaxy' in small Michigan town

Actor John C. Reilly just happened to be in small-town Manistee, Michigan, where he went to the Vogue Theater to see Guardians of the Galaxy on Friday.

Reilly said he has a cottage in the area, according to the Greenfield Daily Reporter.

The versatile actor plays the role of Rhomann Dey in the new Marvel movie. The Manistee natives felt that Reilly's attendance at the Vogue Theater made it feel like a Hollywood Premiere, the Detroit Free Press reported.

Along with John C. Reilly, the cast included Chris Pratt, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista and many more.

Guardians of the Galaxy made a whopping $37.8 million its opening weeked on Friday, Forbes reports. According to IMDb, that surpasses the first days' earnings of recent Marvel sequels, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World.

The super hero movie also received a promising 92% on movie rating site Rotten Tomatoes. And a 9/10 on IMDb.
