Lana Del Rey postpones Tel Aviv concert due to Israel, Hamas violence

Lana Del Rey has decided to postpone her planned upcoming concert in Tel Aviv due to the continued violence in Gaza Strip between Israel and Hamas.

According to the Jerusalem Post, the concert was originally scheduled for Aug. 20, and no new date has been announced yet.

For anyone who already purchased tickets to the concert, they will be contacted when a new date has been selected and the tickets will be honored.

"Lana apologizes to the fans who bought tickets for the show," concert promoter Rani Rahav told Haaretz. "Details on a new date will be announced in the coming days."

The Backstreet Boys canceled three sold out concerts that were scheduled for July 29-31 at the Ra'anana Amphitheater due to the situation in Gaza. They said that three shows will be rescheduled for dates in Spring 2015.

Refunds were offered to people set to attend, but they could also opt to hold on to them and use them for admittance into the future concerts. Other artists, including Neil Young and Paul Anka, have canceled their shows as well.
