A man who was shot multiple times outside of Mountain View, California's Shoreline Amphitheatre following a Wiz Khalifa concert on Friday night has died.
According to TMZ, who first reported the tragic news, a man was shot at least five times while backstage. The site notes it was during the concert, while other sources say it was after the concert.
The shooting happened shortly after 11 p.m. and when police made it to the scene, they discovered one person with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital, but died shortly after, NBC Bay Area reports.
Mountain View police have not released any information on the victim who was attacked at the concert venue, with police spokesperson Shino Tanaka only willing to confirm the shooting and that the person shot was taken to a hospital.
TMZ notes that the shooter has not been found, but there are reportedly several witnesses to the deadly shooting.
