Stars of The Big Bang Theory are delaying the production of the eighth season to the beloved show because of typical money problems.
The highest watched sitcom at the moment has reached a halt because of contracting issues regarding three of the shows main stars, Jim Pasons, Kaley Cuoco and Johnny Galecki. The star are reportedly only making $350,000 an episode but are fighting instead to make a cool million along with gaining some of the other profits this syndicated super show makes.
Let’s be real here, they deserve it.
The Big Bang Theory is equivalent to this decades Friends and all six of those actors make millions every time an episode is repeated. Why can’t this newer generation make off the same way Courtney Cox and Jennifer Anniston do?
Honestly if the network can make money off of these people doing their jobs as actors, then the actors are definitely entitled to a raise. Why should the big CEO’s make money for other people’s talents?
Syndication would be easy money for everyone involved – the episodes are already made and aired. They just turned into repeats! And as for getting a pretty big raise, yeah it may be a lot to us common folk but to these people memorizing lines and becoming different characters we at TheCelebrityCafe.com think it’s worth it.
We believe they should get the raise and finish production already, what’s your stand?
