Apple’s iWatch explores fashion industry for debut

Apple is rumored to be testing the waters with its new product, the iWatch, trying to appeal to the fashion world instead of the usual techies.

Top fashion journalists have reportedly been invited to attend Apple’s Sept. 9 event, the supposed rollout date for the iWatch according to Mashable .
This means that the tech company is trying to appeal to a new crowd with the launch of this product, something that would show consumers that the product is truly wearable.
The fashion world is responding, being intrigued with Apple’s sudden interest in the fashion industry, especially since it is often overlooked. Evidence shows that Apple has been attempting to marry fashion and technology with its designs for the iWatch for some time. Mashable reports that the company recently hired Angela Ahrendts who is the former CEO of Burberry and Jean-Claude Biver who was the former head of a Swiss luxury watch division.
Even though accurate details of what the iWatch will look like are few and far between, there are a few things confirmed about the smart watch. The Verge reports that the watch will be able to track your health, come in two sizes, and that the public probably won’t be able to purchase it until after the holidays.
