Michael C. Hall replacing Andrew Rannells in 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' on Broadway

Who would think that the new cast member to play a Transgender German Rock God would be he who played a psychopathic killer? Making this drastic change in his career, Michael C. Hall, star of Dexter is rocking his way to Broadway as Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry inch. Rather than the blood splatter of a murder being his usual form of makeup, it should be interesting to see Hall in head to toe drag attire.

According to Broadway.com, Hall will be making his debut as Hedwig on October 16 in Broadway's Belasco Theater. So far,Hedwig and the Angry inch has been receiving rave reviews, making it to the top of everyone's Broadway bucket list.

The New York Times described the eccentric musical as "Foulmouthed, electrically tuneful and furiously funny." However, the attention that Neil Patrick Harris received as the original Hedwig will deliver huge heels to fill and a question to answer: Can Hall handle the pressure as he struts into Harris's bedazzled shadow?
