Miranda Lambert may have won the most awards at last night’s Country Music Association Awards, but the “Automatic” singer didn’t take home the top prize. That went to Luke Bryan.
Lambert won the big Single of the Year award for “Automatic.” Her album, Platinum which featured that hit single, won Album of the Year. She also won Female Vocalist of the Year.
Her fourth award came for her participation for the Event of the Year winner, “We Were Us,” with Keith Urban.
Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton did not walk away empty handed. He won Male Vocalist of the Year. However, they lost the biggest award of the night, Entertainer of the Year, to Bryna.
Dierks Bentley's “Drunk on a Plane” won Music Video of the Year, while Kacey Musgraves’ “Follow Your Arrow” won Song of the Year.
Other winners include Brett Eldredge for New Artist of the Year; Florida Georgia Line for Vocal Duo; Little Big Town for Vocal Group; and guitarist Mac McAnally for Musician of the Year.
The ceremony, hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, aired on ABC. Paisley revealed that Underwood is expecting a baby boy, although she wanted to keep it a secret at first, notes ABC News.
Underwood, 31, is expecting her first child with husband Mike Fisher.
