Tired of loathing your childhood Barbie doll for its perfect complexion and curve free thighs? Well, now you don’t have to, because after years of speculation, graphic designer Nickolay Lamm created the “Normal” Barbie, a doll equipped with cellulite and stretch marks. In an effort to relay a positive message about beauty, The “Lammily Dolls” wear minimal makeup and show that size zero is so out of style.

Nickolay told The Washington Post that he created this average sized doll in hopes of effectively portraying that “reality is beautiful.” Considering that flaws are a part of reality, Lamm offers the purchasing of sticker add-ons that resemble acne, stretch marks, scars, scrapes, and any other embarrassing body blemish you can think of. The graphic designer also wanted to assure that a “normal” Ken creation is right around the corner. Nickolay explains the endless possibilities for the Lammily male doll, from a balding head to a beer belly.
“Guys are a lot grosser,” he laughed. “It’s hard to say the inappropriate things we could possibly do.”
According to TIME, after starting his art project in July 2013, parents started asking where they could purchase the realistically designed toy. Although they didn’t quite exist at the time, the Lammily creator was able to raise $501,000 to jumpstart production.
Nickolay also found it necessary to include an informational video, transforming an actual Barbie into that of a Lammily Doll, which helps to further explain his point.
