Fear not, Star Wars fans. If you are not in the 30 Regal theaters playing the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer, you will still get to see it Friday. For it has been revealed the trailer will hit online via iTunes on Black Friday, as well as in front of cinemas everywhere.
The news comes online by none other than the Star Wars Twitter page itself, via Slashfilm, who tweeted the following:
The Force is with you on #BlackFriday when #TheForceAwakens teaser hits @iTunesTrailers.

While it will not be the same as seeing it on the big Regal screen, at least everyone will get a chance to catch a sneak of this new sequel. Considering that the trailer would have been bootlegged online anyway, from some theatergoer or another, this is a smart movie on Disney's part.
Now, when the trailer hits the web is still a mystery. It would seem to be believed it hits in the morning at some point or another, as that is when trailers seem to be hitting the web of late. It should be noted, though, this is a teaser, and not a full trailer. Some people say it's 88 seconds long, some say it's a mere 60, but at least it is a first look at the new movie. If anything, this should be a nice little taste of things to come on December 18, 2015 from director J.J. Abrams.
