Starbucks implements new rule: employess can't wear wedding rings

Starbuck’s baristas are bitter and they’re not talking about their coffee. A new dress code has been implemented to ban their wearing of wedding rings.

According to E! Online stipulations show that jewelry embellished with gems are a “food safety” concern. In addition employees are prohibited to wear watches, bracelets or wristbands. But Wait, Starbuck’s executives aren’t tyrants. They are allowing simple necklaces to be worn beneath the clothing; how generous.

Small Business has also noted the logical reasons reported behind the new rules. Starbuck’s claims that they have a five year plan to increase their focus on food by doubling its sales. The king of all coffee shops feels that the only way to succeed in this goal is to play by the FDA’s food rules.

However, employees aren’t the only people discussing the health code contributions. Many patrons have posted, angry messages to Twitter regarding the engagement ring renegades. Although, many posts feature #BoycottStarbucks, some customers express an understanding for the new rules.
