Taylor Swift announces her new 'Blank Spaces' phone app

Taylor Swift’s ongoing need for new experiences has taken her from country singing to pop performing. Now, her newest endeavor will invite fans to visit a world of virtual reality. Swift’s latest single, “Blank Spaces,” has been complemented by her newly released interactive app, available for downloading.

As reported by Forbes Magazine the news was announced by the ‘shake it off’ singer on Tuesday during an episode of Good Morning America. The app will host a 360 degree experience, immersing fans into the simulated setting of the ‘Blank Spaces’ video. Downloaders are given the opportunity to follow swift throughout the featured house as if they were personally invited to the party. Though highly unlikely, if Swift is lacking excitement, fans are given the option to follow other people present in the video as well.

But don’t think this is a free for all; Taylor is making you work for your winnings. In order to complete the game, a total of 41 trinkets must be found around the mansion.

According to Billboard the app is a product of collaborated work between Swift and American Express. The free application, available to tablet and smartphone owners, is available in the App store and the Google Play Store.
