Alicia Keys has given birth to her second child with husband Swizz Beatz, another son named Genesis Ali Dean. The couple also has 4-year-old Egypt Daoud.
Keys took to Instagram to confirm the baby news, posting a photo of his tiny footprints with it.
“The joy of joy is joy!! It's a boy!! we are so grateful!! #blessings!!” she wrote.
CBS News notes the photo also indicated that baby Genesis weighed 6 pounds and 5 ounces at birth.
Keys confirmed she was pregnant with her second child in July, when she was celebrating her anniversary with Beatz.
“To make it even sweeter we've been blessed with another angel on the way!!” she wrote at the time. “You make me happier than I have ever known. Here's to many many more years of the best parts of life!"
Keys and Beatz have been married for four years. He also had three children from previous relationships.
E! Online reports Keys has talked about Egypt preparing to be an older brother, saying, “He has like a little doll where he's like, ‘Am I supposed to be doing this? Am I supposed to be doing that?' He's so ready. It's a blessing."
