'America's Next Top Model' finalist Renee Alway sentenced to 12 years in prison

America's Next Top Model finalist, Renee Alway, has received a 12-year prison sentence for multiple criminal charges.

According to The Desert Sun, Alway pleaded guilty to four counts of burglary, one count of being a felon in possession of a fire arm and 1 count of vehicle theft; crimes she committed June 2013 in Palm Springs.

TMZ reported last July, that calls were made to police about a suspicious female seen around a vacated home. Police reached the scene where Alway was allegedly armed and hiding in the garage.

Alway was arrested and bail was set at $150,000.

Aside from her 12-year prison sentence, Alway was also ordered to reimburse over $58,000 to victims.

Under Alway's plea agreement, over a dozen counts were dismissed, including resisting arrest and receiving stolen property. Counts from a previous arrest were also dropped including possession of a controlled substance and fraud.

Alway made it to the final three on cycle 8 of America's Next Top Model alongside Natalya Galkina and winner Jaslene Gonzalez.
