Jonah Hill, Robert Redford, Nick Nolte, Felicity Jones and more also join Sundance 2015 round-up

Even more films are joining 2015's Sundance Film Festival round-up, and it looks like two of the new features will have no problem gathering some good publicity. True Story, starring Jonah Hill, James Franco and Felicity Jones, and A Walk in the Woods, starring Sundance founder Robert Redford and Nick Nolte, are also premiering in Park City this January, along with some other new features.

The new premieres and showcases, courtesy of The Playlist, reveal A Walk in the Woods will, in fact, be the festival's Salt Lake City Gala Film, which isn't so surprising considering Redford's involvement.

In addition to the announcement of these two premieres, this announcement also includes some new entrees in the Sundance Kids categeory. Among the most exciting is Shaun the Sheep, the new stop-motion animated movie from Aardman Animations revealed to be making its International Premiere. This also includes the International Premiere of Operation Artic from Norway and the U.S. Premiere of The Games Maker, featuring Ed Asner.

Also worth noting is Wild-The Experience in the New Frontier category from artists Félix Lajeunesse and Paul Raphaël. This event allows people "to enter a fully immersive media environment to join an intimate moment on the Pacific Crest Trail between a woman, Cheryl Strayed (Reese Witherspoon), and her mother, Bobbi (Laura Dern), a vision from the afterlife," in case the movie wasn't close enough. Also from Lajeunesse and Raphael in this field are Herders and Strangers With Patrick Wilson. More details are available for those at the link.

Also revealed to be included in this year's Sundance is the World Premiere of Pioneers Palace B'92, under the festival's new Art of Film program and produced by film students and supported by Mandragora Film Academy, with Solar Indie Junction. There will also be a restoration screening of the 1990 documentary Paris is Burning.

These new films join the films already announced to premiere at this year's Sundance from January 22 to February 1.
