Kobe Brryant leaning towards retirement after next season

For Kobe Bryant and the rest of his Los Angeles Lakers, this season has been a downright disaster. They currently sit at 10-22, firmly in last place of the Pacific Division. Perhaps all of the losing is now getting to the future Hall of Famer.

Bill Oram of the Orange County Register recently reported that Bryant eluded to the fact he's leaning towards walking away after next season.

"If you asked me if I was going to play beyond that, right now the answer is no," Bryant said

Kobe has only one-year remaining on his current contract after this season. This means that the 2015-16 season will be his last in the NBA if his current attitude towards playing continues.

The news comes the heels of a fantastic game by the 36-year old. Last night against the Denver Nuggets he notched a triple-double, registering 23 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists in his team's 111-103 win.

"You see now -- very, very efficient," said Bryant, who also had nine turnovers. "I know exactly where I want to go. I get to my spots. I don't try to beat guys with quickness. I back them down, get to my areas and elevate over them. Old school Oscar Robertson-style," according to ESPN.

For the season Bryant is averaging 24.1 points per game while shooting a terrible 37.5 percent from the field.
