From brand new music videos to new songs that are quickly rising on the charts, we have it covered but list is a special version of “Must Watch” as TheCelebrityCafe.com is counting down the top ten music videos that we had to watch in 2014.

This week features the best of music videos from 2014 from Taylor Swift with her chart topping single “Shake it Off.” This countdown also features music videos from Eminem, Jason DeRulo and Katy Perry. Perry took over the charts with her latest album and also launched a world tour that embodied the energy and passion behind PRISM, with all of this going on Perry still found time to make creative and ground breaking music videos. This year also featured breakthroughs from new artists like Meghan Trainor with her hit “All About That Bass” and “Fancy” by Iggy Azalea.

2014 was the year of “bass” and Meghan Trainor lead the charge. This song was stuck on repeat on iPods and radio airwaves everywhere. Trainor proved that pop music still has a place on the charts and that a catchy melody will win every time. Trainor is still working on proving that she can have a full music career and not a one hit wonder but 2015 is looking promising for Trainor if she keeps up the same positive attitude and popular hooks.

It seem liked Jason DeRulo owned hip-hop for the past few years with his massive hit “Talk Dirty” but DeRulo proved he isn’t going anywhere with his single “Wiggle.” He has a way of taking a simple song and producing it into a chart-topping hit. Will DeRulo keep his hip-hop reign in 2015? Only time will tell but with a lot going on in his personal life it is likely that DeRulo will take over the charts once again.

Before 2014, no one knew who Iggy Azalea was but once “Fancy” hit the airwaves she became a household name. “Fancy” showed off that Azalea was a musical talent and a strong female rapper, which is a very small genre. Azalea kept her momentum going by being featured on a variety of songs and teaming up with some of the biggest names in music right now including, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.

Sia has an incredible vocal range and had been featured on many singles before her breakout song “Chandelier.” When it comes to music videos Sia is able to be as creative as she wants and really highlight the story behind her lyrics. “Chandelier” showcases her musical and visual talent in one.

Selena Gomez had an emotional year and channeled that energy into her music. She opened up to fans when she released “The Heart Wants What It Wants” is most likely about on and off again boyfriend Justin Bieber and Gomez captures that emotion in the lyrics and in her performance. The music video is emotional but it was her recent performance at the American Music Awards that made this song so memorable in 2014.

When two female superpowers team up for a sexy and catchy song, magic happens.
