Despite her wild antics, Maria Shriver approves of Miley Cyrus. Why should that be important to the “Wrecking Ball” singer? Because she’s dating Shriver’s son, Patrick Schwarzenegger.
A source for E! News said that Shriver has no problem with her son dating Cyrus. Shriver thinks she is a “very nice girl.”
Cyrus and Schwarzenegger also met his uncle, Anthony Shriver in Miami. It turns out that Anthony Shriver also likes Cyrus. “He said Miley was a lot of fun. As far as he's concerned, the family has no problem with her,” the source told E!.
This is very different from what was reported earlier this month. Shriver herself was going to go to Art Basel in Miami, but cancelled the trip when she learned that Cyrus was going to be there as well.
Cyrus and Schwarzenegger haven’t been quiet about their relationship and were spotted making out at a USC football game in November and later at a dinner date. They also spent Cyrus’ 22nd birthday together. They were also seen at a Beverly Hills charity event for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital earlier this month.
