Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are engaged after about six months of dating. The couple is currently vacationing in Hawaii, where he reportedly popped the question on Christmas Day.
While in the tropical destination, they also celebrated the Magic Mike star’s 38th birthday. Vergara wrote a sweet birthday wish to him, calling him her “love” and “best friend.”
A source told People Manganiello was “very nervous” to propose during their getaway.
"He wasn't 100 percent sure she would say yes,” the source said.
Reps for Manganiello or the Modern Family star have yet to confirm the engagement news, but Vergara’s ex-fiance Nick Loeb has commented. They broke off their own engagement in May and she quickly rebounded with Manganiello.
He told Us Weekly, “She is beautiful and majestic and therefore to be loved. Beyond all else in life she deserves happiness, the kind that only true love can bring.”
Vergara and Manganiello have been celebrating at the St. Regis Princeville Resort in Kauai all week.
