10 celebrities who should have the honor of being roasted

What’s better than seeing your favorite musicians, actors and comedians get completely ridiculed and mocked by their peers as they sit in the hot seat?

Nothing.

Adding to the list of celebrities who have been roasted by Comedy Central, it has recently been confirmed that Justin Bieber is next to take the awkward but hysterical spotlight.

After Ryan Seacrest first reported that the roast of the 20-year-old pop star was in talks, E! Online confirmed that the special will be aired this year in Los Angeles.

“Justin has been asking us for a few years to roast him and we just kept telling him to go create more source material first. We’re thrilled he listened,” Kent Alterman, president of content development and original programming at Comedy Central said in a statement.

Bieber took to Twitter to give his opinion about the roast saying, “For years I have wanted Comedy Central to roast me. They said only if I provided them w/ more material so for a year now I have worked hard.”

“Finally after all that hard work for my 21st bday it’s happening. Thanks @Ryan Seacrest & @ComedyCentral for the announcement. Let’s do it : ) Lol. @BieberRoast.”

The pop star will be joining a long list of other roasted celebrities including Joan Rivers, Roseanne Barr, Charlie Sheen, Donald Trump, David Hasselhoff, Bob Saget and of course, James Franco in 2013.
