Justin Bieber named new face of Calvin Klein, gets Mark Wahlberg's approval

Justin Bieber has been named the newest face of Calvin Klein, giving Mark Wahlberg a run for his money in new photos in his underwear.

On Tuesday, he took to social media to announce his collaboration with the iconic brand and share the first images of his campaign.

“Officially a part of the legacy. Check out @calvinklein for more,” he wrote. “#mycalvins. #newfaceofcalvinklein.”

He went on to share several other images of both himself alone and with model Lara Stone. “This is just the start of the year,” he wrote.

The “Home to Mama” singer also posted a clip of himself rocking out to the sound of a drum set and showing off his rock hard abs.

He told Us Weekly of their partnership, "I've wanted to be involved with Calvin Klein for a while now.”

He also explained how he landed the deal, saying, “Earlier this year, I put up a picture on Instagram of me in their boxer briefs with the #mycalvins tag, and people went crazy for it and it got their attention."

Remember back in September when Bieber stripped down to his underwear on stage at the Fashion Rocks event during New York Fashion Week? It seems that was all part of the plan.

"The Fashion Rocks presentation was definitely a clue, and I wasn't worried about the negative reaction from the crowd when it happened," he said, referring to the boos from the audience.

Bieber also took to Twitter to tell fans he got the seal of approval from Wahlberg. "Just spoke to my boy @mark_wahlberg. Honored to be a part of the legacy. @CalvinKlein #mycalvins," he tweeted.
