Quentin Tarantino's 'The Hateful Eight' begins filming with Zoe Bell joining the cast

After much tribulation, Quentin Tarantino's eighth film The Hateful Eight has finally begun rolling in front of cameras.

The Wrap reports Tarantino has begun filming his latest western, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demian Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern and Channing Tatum, in Telluride, CO. The movie is shooting in "glorious 70mm," as promised last year.

Now also joining the cast is Zoe Bell, who Tarantino worked with first as a stunt double in the Kill Bill movies and later as an actress in Death Proof and Django Unchained, as well as James Parks (Kill Bill), Gene Jones (No Country For Old Men) and Django Unchained stars Dana Gourrier, Keith Jefferson, Lee Horsley, Craig Stark and Belinda Owino.

Bob and Harvey Weinsteins are, once again, behind this production, who have backed all of Tarantino's films since his first, Reservoir Dogs.

Tarantino initially shelved the film once the script leaked online. Over time, however, Tarantino began changing his mind before officially confirming it was his next movie. The production start date has been pushed from November to December.
