Ryan Gosling crashes Russell Crowe’s award presentation

Ryan Gosling showed off his Australian accent as he bombed Russell Crowe’s presentation video this week during the Australian Academy Awards.

Hollywood Reporter reports that during the award ceremony, Crowe came on screen while on set in Los Angeles for his latest film, The Nice Guys. That’s when his co-star, Gosling, appeared mid-sentence dressed up in character in his 1970s blue suit.

He questioned what Crowe was doing in the funny video and then looked to the audience and said, “Good day” in his best Australian accent.

“I lived in New Zealand for like two years,” he said as everyone laughed.

Crowe retaliated the banter from Gosling telling everyone that you may not recognize the actor for actually being clothed – not for his fake '70s styled mustache.

Gosling, who revealed that his wife Eva Mendes birth to his daughter just last November, can definitely be an honorary Australian with the way he can talk on cue.
