Following Zooey Deschanel’s pregnancy announcement, the New Girl star has even more happy news – she’s engaged to Jacob Pechenik.
Deschanel and Pechenik confirmed they’re expecting their first child together earlier this month, with the actress saying they’re “over the moon.”
Us Weekly confirms the parents-to-be are now engaged, marking the second time she will walk down the aisle.
Deschanel was previously married to Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard from 2009-2012 and she dated screenwriter Jamie Linden for two years after that.
She started dating her now-fiance this past summer and they made their first public debut as a couple together at the Emmys in August.
Deschanel's Bones star sister, Emily Deschanel, is also currently pregnant, expecting her second child with husband David Hornsby. The couple are already parents to 3-year-old son Henry.
