The series finale for Two and a Half Men finally airs tonight, following 12 seasons. Ashton Kutcher has been a part of the show since 2011, after Charlie Sheen was infamously fired. Kutcher was on long enough for the show to make an impact on his career, so he paid tribute to that today on Facebook, also acknowledging his co-star, Jon Cryer.
Kutcher posted a black and white picture of the two together on Facebook Wednesday. He thanked Cryer for making working on the show fun and noted that he looks up to him.
“Thank you Mr. Cryer for making this job never feel like work. I will miss working with you every day,” Kutcher wrote. “You are a true partner in every sense of the word. In four years I never heard you complain and never heard you speak ill of another person even if they took advantage of your kindness and generosity. Your are a gentleman. You are a talent. You are someone I look up to. See you tomorrow night.”
Cryer has been the one constant for the show, which was co-created by Chuck Lorre. Sheen left, then Angus T. Jones eventually left (also with controversy). Cryer even won an Emmy for Supporting Actor in 2009 and then Lead Actor in 2012.
The final episode of Two and a Half Men airs tonight on CBS at 9 p.m.
