Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt, Tina Brown, was rushed to the hospital on Sunday. She was taken to the same hospital her niece is in, Emory University Hospital outside of Atlanta, after experiencing symptoms of a stroke.
Tina is Bobby Brown’s oldest sister and she has a history of heart issues.
A source told RadarOnline she’s “very stressed out” over her niece’s condition, which likely triggered the episode.
Sources say she was with other members of the Brown family on Sunday when the right side of her body went numb.
Earlier this month, Tina was at the center of family drama when police responded to the scene of a fight.
She reportedly struck her son, Shayne Brown, over the head with a bottle. He drove himself to the hospital and decided against filing any charges against his mother.
As Bobbi Kristina remains in a coma, a criminal investigation is being carried out to determine if Nick Gordon was responsible for any foul play.
Bobby Brown’s lawyer released a statement about Gordon on Sunday through his lawyer, Christopher Brown.
“(Nick) Gordon was offered an opportunity to potentially visit Bobbi Kristina and he declined to meet the terms of any possible visit,” the statement read. “We are only concerned with individuals that can help Bobbi Kristina and bring resolution to this investigation. Obviously Mr. Gordon is not as desperate to visit Bobbi Kristina as he wants the world to believe."
