'Bob's Burgers' and Sleater-Kinney join forces for 'A New Wave' video

A new crossover has swept over the Internet and this time, the Bob’s Burgers gang has come together with Sleater-Kinney to star in the video for their new song, “A New Wave.”

No Cities to Love is the newest of eight albums released by the all female trio consisting of Carrie Brownstein, Corin Tucker and Janet Weiss. If anyone else belongs in the feminist riot grrrl group, it’s the inspirational and butt-obsessed Tina Belcher from Fox’s animated show.

According to Pitchfork, the creator of the hit cartoon teamed up with the Washington group to create a music video that showcases the trio in cartoon form. Tina grooves to the music without shame, soon to be joined by her partners in crime and siblings of the Belcher clan, Louise and Gene.

Sleater-Kinney music videos have been a ten out of ten lately, with their last video for “No Cities to Love” featuring the voices of fellow comedians and friends, Fred Armisen, Sarah Silverman, Andy Samberg and Norman Reedus, as reported by Rolling Stone

No Cities to Love broke the 10 year LP drought and overcame daunting relationship complications between band members and intricate scheduling conflicts with IFC hit series, Portlandia.
