Browns unveil so-called 'new' logo and it's exactly the same as the old one

The Cleveland Browns exist for the sole purpose of disappointing everyone. After announcing that today was the day that fans would see new logos, the franchise chickened out on a chance to make any big changes. You need a magnifying glass to see what’s new about them.

The logo is practically the same - showing the orange helmet because the Browns don’t have a traditional logo like every other team in the NFL. The wordmark is solid, dropping the black outline around the name of the team.

In addition, the official orange color was slightly changed to be a “brighter and richer” orange that “matches the passion of our fans and city.” Well, they’d probably be more passionate if, you know, the team on the field was actually better.

The Browns also changed the logo for the “Dawg Pound,” the name of the team’s fan base. Instead of just a drawing of a serious bulldog, it is now a cartoon bulldog in an orange rectangle with the words “Dawg Pound” under it.

New uniforms will be unveiled on April 14 and we can predict that they will be just as boring.

So much for Brownie the Elf making a big comeback.
