Miami Heat star Chris Bosh was admitted to a hospital on Thursday for testing on his lungs.
According to the team, Bosh underwent initial tests which proved to be inconclusive. The Miami Herald later reported that there is a concern that the 30-year-old has blood clots on his lungs.
If that is found to be true, Bosh will miss at least the remainder of this season to be treated.
The Sun Sentinel noted that Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said the situation is not believed to be life threatening, but reiterated that the team has yet to receive a definitive diagnosis.
"For everybody to speculate, right now, at this stage, it's very premature," Spoelstra said. "My biggest thought last night and tonight, 'Is C.B. OK?' "
Bosh’s current teammate, Mario Chalmers and former teammate LeBron James sent well wishes to the power forward via Twitter.

Bosh played in last Saturday’s All-Star game and won the Shooting Stars event, an event that he won the past two years as well.
