While police in New Hampshire are still searching for Punxsutawney Phil, police in Kentucky are on the look out for a particular Queen who loves to sing a very catchy Oscar-winning song.
On Wednesday, the Harlan City Police Department got so fed up with the cold temperatures there that they issued an arrest warrant for Queen Elsa of Disney’s Frozen.
“Suspect is a blonde female last seen wearing a long blue dress and is known to burst into song ‘Let it Go!’ As you can see by the weather she is very dangerous,” the department wrote on Facebook. “Do not attempt to apprehend her alone.”
A few minutes later, the department made sure that everyone knew they were joking, issuing a more serious statement about how people should stay safe during the cold weather.
“Everyone please take precautions to stay safe and warm. Stay off the roads unless it is an emergency. Watch out and help others who may need help. HPD is doing a great job during this time but it takes everyone working together,” the department added.
In other words, please don’t go around arresting little girls dressed as Elsa at Disney World.
Harlan City police aren’t the only ones trying to make fun of the unbearable cold rocking the country. Up in New Hampshire, Merrimack police issued an arrest warrant for Punxsutawney Phil, who predicted six more weeks of winter on Groundhog Day.
