Robert Meyers, the husband of Las Vegas ‘road rage’ shooting victim Tammy Meyers, gave a recent interview and discussed the misconceptions about the tragic incident.
During the interview with ABC News Meyers spoke about the events that he was told took place that evening.
"The reason I didn’t know this story is, for one, it wasn’t explained to me," he said. "It was explained to me one way. And that’s how I told it. Until we started getting all the information and all the facts came out, that’s how I have knowledge of all this. My son was very hurt, thinking I was going to blame him for his mom going down, and he didn’t come forward with all the things."
Meyers is referring to the story that changed back and forth about whether his wife and son followed a suspect after an apparent road altercation.
Meyers was gunned down when she exited her vehicle in front of her home on Feb. 12. The 44-year-old woman died at a hospital a few days later.
As previously noted, the suspect Erich Milton Nowsch Jr., 19, was arrested last Thursday in connection with her death.
Nowsch and the Meyers family lived near and reportedly knew one another.
