Johnny Depp and Amber Heard officially tied the knot - again - on Saturday at Depp's private island in the Bahamas.
Earlier, we reported> that the Depp-Heard union received the seal of approval from one of Depp's friends. Depp and Heard were married last week in a private ceremony on Tuesday, according to E! News.
The couple held a bigger ceremony this weekend on the beaches of Little Hall's Pond Cay, reports People Magazine.
A source described the feel of the event that united the couple, who met while filming Depp's 2011 Hunter S. Thompson adaptation The Rum Diary.
"The weather was perfect and the beach setting was gorgeous," the source said. "The ceremony was beach casual and intimate, yet very romantic."
Depp made quite the romantic gesture as part of his wedding gift for Heard by renaming the yacht he gave to ex-partner Vanessa Paridis, reported The Hamilton Spectator. The yacht is now called Amphitrite, named after the Greek sea queen.
While Depp encountered a box office bomb with last month's Mortdecai, he has franchise standbys like Alice in Wonderland>/i> and Pirates of the Caribbean on the horizon. Meanwhile, Heard is set to appear in Magic Mike XXL due out this summer.
