Justin Bieber is ready to let the world see him start a new chapter in his life.
Bieber stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show on February 5th to explain that apology video he posted on his Facebook and to discuss his mistakes, Us Weekly reports. Last week after making a surprise birthday visit for Ellen, the “Never Say Never” singer posted a video captioned “Here we go” to his Facebook page admitting he was “nervous” while appearing on the show and felt “awkward.”
The 20-year-old pop singer appeared back on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Thursday, so DeGeneres asked him what made him want to post the video. "It was the first time I was on television for a long time and I just was worried about what people were thinking about me," he explained. “I did a lot of things over the past few years that I’m not proud of. I was just nervous to be in front of people again and talk in front of them. I thought I just looked really extra nervous and I kinda just wanted to explain myself."
Within the past few years, Bieber has had multiple run-ins with the police department. The singer who has 60 million followers on Twitter and almost 23 million on Instagram admitted that he does get upset from the negative comments people write about him. "I am a human, right? People often forget that, even with some of their comments and stuff they think it doesn’t get to me. But it gets to me. You know, things that people say bother me and I gotta be strong enough to just keep it pushing,” he explained.
As his 21st birthday and Comedy Central roast special approaches, Bieber admits that he’s ready to become a better person and grow from his past experiences. "I just wanted to make the video to just let people know that I’m human, I love people, I love love, I’m passionate about things, and I’m passionate about being better and growing," he said. "I think that this is going to be an awesome chapter in my life and I’m so glad that I have you guys supporting me."
