Kerry Washington, Viola Davis, Khloe Kardashian and more rally behind Zendaya

Zendaya has a lot of support rallying around her in the wake of defending herself against GIuliana Rancic’s Fashion Police comments on her hair.

Rancic did apologize on E! News on Tuesday night after Zendaya called the comments “outrageously offensive” and “ignorant.”

In Zendaya’s lengthy post slamming the stereotype, she cited accomplished people who wear dreadlocks, which included Oscar-nominated Selma director Ava DuVernay.

In return, DuVernay was among the celebrities who rallied behind Zendaya.

“You're beautiful, Queen. We bless the ignorant and wish them well. Onward. Xo,” she tweeted.

Others who showed support are Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian, Scandal star Kerry Washington, How To Get Away With Murder star Viola Davis and Solange Knowles.

Rancic’s Fashion Police co-star, Kelly Osbourne, was so rattled by the comment that she has actually threatened to quit the show.
