Madonna took a pretty bad tumble during her performance at the Brit Awards on Wednesday night, falling down a flight of stairs.
One of her dancers was trying to pull off her dramatic cape, but unfortunately it wouldn’t come off and he yanked her down the stairs with it.
She took a second after the fall, but shot right back up and kept performing like the professional she is, Daily News reports.
Madonna then took to Instagram after the performance to let her fans know she was “fine.”
“Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine!” she wrote.
The Telegraph reports some of Madonna’s fans were angrily sending posts to her stylist, B Akerlund, on social media after the fall.
Some were blaming her, but one fan defended her, writing “How dare you, any of you. To cast blame on and point fingers at someone who has done nothing but work diligently and endlessly for over 2 months for Madonna's project. Shame on you for not #livingforlove trying to rip someone else down. You call yourselves fans.... #growup."
