Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend, Nick Gordon, has dropped the restraining order he placed on the state of Georgia in order to stop them to from seeking a search warrant to obtain footage from a security camera inside the home they share.
His lawyer filed the petition for the temporary restraining order on Monday but withdrew it on Wednesday.
They initially did it to “protect his interests,” but now, “Mr. Gordon has since elected to dismiss the claim in an effort to help Roswell PD speed up their investigation,” Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The restraining order would’ve blocked authorities from accessing footage from Gordon’s in-home security camera, Dropcam. The petition also sought to block Nest Labs, the company that owns Dropcam, from meeting the terms of the warrant.
Despite reports Bobbi Kristina was taken out of her medically-induced coma this week, TMZ reports she is still in a coma with no signs of improvement.
Gordon is reportedly at the forefront of a criminal investigation and Brown’s father, Bobby Brown, won’t allow him to visit her in the hospital.
