Paul McCartney spent his Valentine's Day playing for a sold out crowd at New York City's Irving Plaza. The former Beatle played for over two-hours and explained to the audience that this performance was all about love.
The New York Times reported that this venue holds about 1,000 people, compared to the many stadiums and arenas that McCartney has sold out throughout this career.
AP reported that the audience was packed with celebrities including Peyton Manning, Eddie Murphy, Emma Stone, Tom Hanks. Also seen in the audience was funny many Billy Crystal, Jim Carey and Charlie Day along with Jason Sudeikis.

McCartney didn't stay away from Beatles classics including playing on the guitar and keys and singing, "Hey Jude," ''Drive My Car," ''Let It Be" and "Carry That Weight."
McCartney ended the night by thanking the crowd and expressing his love for his fans. "New York City, you have been fantastic tonight," said McCartney. "We love you."
