Pharrell Williams sure looked tired of having to perform “Happy” at the Grammys earlier this month, but that’s not stopping him from cashing in on its popularity. He plans on turning the song into a children’s book.
Williams signed a deal with Putnam Books to create four picture books for young readers. The first book will be directly inspired by the hit single. Billboard reports that 250,000 copies will be printed first.
“Happy” in book form will hit bookstores on Sept. 22 and will include pictures of happy children “celebrating what it means to be happy.”
Williams won Best Urban Contemporary Album at the Grammys for last year’s GIRL. “Happy” also won Grammys for Best Music Video and Best Pop Solo Performance. The track was also nominated for the Best Original Song Oscar last year, since it was in Despicable Me 2.
Williams, who performed a radically different version of “Happy” at the Grammys this month, is returning for another season of The Voice, which premieres on Feb. 23.
